If there was an award for “finding the worst possible time to discover your girlfriend self harms,” Diego just got it.

it’s all coming together now. Ada’s bigoted and likely-abusive family, self-harming in a completely hidden area, hiding her pain behind smiles, why Diego can’t let go of her after all these years, why Eve and Ben wouldn’t tell Chel the details of how she passed away… my guess is that whatever mental illness/trauma she had to deal with growing up finally defeated her as an adult. Heartrending stuff, this is. :(

Hi, I would like to extend a virtual hug to everyone that commented on this with recognition of their own lives. I'm sorry for what you went through and I wish I could have been there and somehow helped. I'm glad that, whatever else has happened, at least you are still with us. You have value and I believe you can find value in life.
